I made a card using Spellbinders Swirls. I love these circle dies. They are wonderful to use for many different projects. This swirly card uses stamp set from Stampin Up called Summer Smiles. I stamped the smiley face and placed it at the bottom center of the card. The background of the card is stamped and then cut out. Now that I thought about it, I really like the way this card turned out, but I don’t like that it is not perfectly centered. There is no way to tell if it’s right or wrong, or if I can do any better. I guess if I had done it correctly it wouldn’t be in the process of being a right or wrong, just me trying, and doing something different.

I have been busy last week with a couple of projects. One is a kitchen project, which was fun to do. I am an expert at that now and want to have a total of 12 cabinets in my kitchen by next month. It’s fun to do, because you see what you can do with your stamps. I have to say one of my stamps that I have used is a lighly-colored stamp called Downtown Dish. I stamped the image on a wood panel, which is painted white. I could not see my image because there was so much wood in the background. So I spray painted a quick light blue paint and that made the image much easier to see. I hope you get what I mean.
The second project I just finished is a gift for a friend, who got engaged recently. She has a daughter, who is 12 months old. She wanted to get a baby girl wooden toy and I made her a little wooden girl. I took a piece of wood and painted it blue and then used paper cups to make a little dress. When I got that done I used some scrap paper to make a little bottom of the dress. Then I glued together the dress and the bottom of the dress. I painted the baby doll pink. I took the face of the doll and traced the pattern from the front of the baby doll. I stamped a dot, a swirl and a text stamp of the baby doll. The eyes of the doll are small circles. The little arms are painted black and then a darker darker blue. I made a heart and glued it on the back of the little girl. The bottom of the dress is covered with mod
