A considerable amount of time needs to be spent configuring your profiles, actions and schedules, which also needs a lot of testing for proper functionality. It can be used with any POP3 service or even on a server, but only with more work will it become entirely practical.

WideMail is a mailbox manager application in which mailboxes can be created, viewed, indexed and searched. In order to add a mailbox, a file which has to be saved on the local computer is needed. On startup, some folders will be created, but this can be modified by means of buttons on the title screen. A frequent suggestion is to put the user’s settings on the computer’s « My Documents » folder.
For a better search, enter your search terms on the box on the main screen and use the results for your selection. You can also use the button at the bottom of the main screen to auto-categorize your mails. This way, you won’t even have to look at individual mails, even though you can use the filters to set different colors for your categories.
WideMail 6.5 is currently in beta.

CheckMail Free Download

CheckMail combines all of your electronic mail accounts into one window. Access, read, reply, delete and act on mails just as you do in other email clients. CheckMail can be automatically synchronized with any of your accounts at the push of a button.
Instructions:
Launch the application and click on the « Create a new profile » button. This will open a new profile dialog.
Select from the provided options as to what you want to set this profile as.
Fill in the « What to check » window with the POP3 server you want to work with.
CheckMail provides a « Automatic sync » feature to get the mail retrieved from the POP3 server. All you need to do is to check your « Automatic sync » option. You can also set this up manually.
Choose a folder or label for your new profile and click ok.
The profile is now created. Click the « Open an existing profile » button to import the current settings. The dialog will be the same as the « Create a new profile » button. Click ok when you are done importing the profile.
Test the settings by clicking the « Test » button. If everything is ok you can click the button « Save and continue » or « Save and Close ». Click the button « Save and Close » to close the profile creation dialog.
To check your new profile click the button « Check new mail ». A window will open asking for your password. Enter your password.
As new mail is downloaded, the application will update.
You can now start work on your emails. All emails and any attachments will be found in your « Inbox ». To reply to an email click on the « Reply » button. You can also select a pre-made reply window or send the email directly without going through the reply form. You can also repost a message to multiple people at once.
To archive an email click on the « Archive » button. You can also select a preset action like delete or delete folder. To view the details of a message click on the « Info » button.
To write a new email click on the « Send mail » button. There are a number of pre-made mail templates. To format your new email click the button « Prepare your email ».
