The latest release of proProportional 1.5 is here! This is another good news for proProportional users as we’re bringing a new features:
– Support for PPT files opening.
– Capture Screen with notification.
There are some compatibility issues though, especially with the compilers that run on 64 bit Windows platform. We suggest you to uninstall previous version of proProportional before updating to the latest version. If your proProportional program has a shortcut in the startmenu, you can move the shortcut to the desktop and remove it from the startmenu.
We’re still fixing those bugs and issue, so if you have any bugs, please report it to the community.

WinTiler 1.6, is designed to bring the start menu to your screen.
With WinTiler you can customize the size and appearance of the start menu and add special sections to it.
You can change the background color of the start menu, add checkboxes to show or hide the items, and also change the layout to become more complex.
This lets you have more control over what you want. WinTiler lets you create multiple categories that contain programs and web sites.
Inside each category you can create special sections that show special information about the apps/websites.
You can select the layout for each category (2×2, 2×3, 3×2, 3×3) and also the background color for each. This allows you to completely customize the appearance of your start menu.
WinTiler also provides some advanced functionality. For example, you can specify how the start menu should launch certain programs (for example: with user credentials, not login).
Another feature is the ability to add multiple buttons to each tile. This means you can have buttons for more than one program.
You can also add a drop down menu for browsing the icons.
Finally, one of the greatest benefits of WinTiler is that it can be reset to it’s factory default state. It’s not a hidden or locked app, so if you want to revert the app back to the factory state, you can do so with just a couple of clicks.
It’s also very easy to use and adds a nice touch to Windows 10 in my opinion.

Get ready for some big changes to Windows 10. Starting July 29, Windows 10 should automatically keep itself updated to new versions. Users will no longer need to manually install updates. While this is a great move, it comes at a price, so Microsoft is making everyone disable Windows Update, temporarily, to force users to manually check for updates.
The feature is rolling out to users, but some are reporting problems and updates aren’t coming from regular Windows Update. If it’s happening to you, make sure you’ve turned off Windows Update while you go through these steps.
There’s still a chance that Windows 10 users won’t have to deal with automatic updates, as Microsoft often issues updates that « don’t need to be installed. » That won’t be the case in 2018, however.
