In the beginning of this year, we received a bunch of requests for a final fantasy game of a new genre, so I started thinking about where we can go with this idea, not really expecting to be received with this positive feedback. Also, as the possibility of us having fun was really strong, I put together a presentation and went to some colleagues and friends who I thought might enjoy it. During the presentation they liked it so much that they wanted to know more about it and the idea of an action RPG came from there. I thought: ‘Why not?’ So this idea was born and the game was born a few days later.

• A great beginning

From the beginning I thought that I had a good idea for a game and that was basically what I said during the presentation. But when I got feedback that you could enjoy the game, the possibility of a great adventure that would be different from all the other FF games, I felt extremely happy that I had suggested this game to them, because now I really have to stick with what I said.

• New gameplay

I really liked what I saw in the presentation, I liked the combat very much. Also, I was looking for the option of having an action game, so this was great. Other points that I liked were the role of the choices you make during the game, and the possibility of being able to fully customize and change your characters appearance. This is an extremely interesting point, because there’s something really fun with adjusting the characters to make them look like the ones you saw in the presentation, without feeling like you’re ruining the work.

• A new setting and music

I’m very familiar with this setting because of my work. Also, I liked the musical selection, especially the main theme of Elden Ring that was implemented in the presentation. The feeling of being in the world of Elden Ring that I got when I was listening to the music was something I didn’t expect and I thought was a perfect fit.
