Your character can only move a certain distance each day at most and finding out what lies ahead is usually your first priority when you begin your adventure.

    Each area you enter is visited by a certain NPC and by clearing a room where they are, they will reward you with a quest. After you finish these quests, you will receive the next quest in order. There are a few more than usual that will activate once the level of the dungeon you’re currently exploring is set to a certain level. Most of the dungeons have a few different areas to explore with a variety of NPCs and items to collect. Some of these will give you the option to visit them multiple times.

    The dungeons are not random and have a lot of variety. Some of them have puzzle rooms to solve and require skill and luck on your part to pass. Others have monsters to fight and traps to avoid. There are also treasure chests scattered throughout that you can break down to obtain useful items and equipment. Some of the items required to open them are unique to certain dungeons and if you can’t figure out what you have to do, you can always just avoid those dungeons.

    There are also monsters hiding around the world map that if you become close enough, can attack you. As you explore, you will find people that can be your friends or can be your foes. You can find them in your quest log and there is a chance they will help you if you become close enough. You can also meet up with other players to travel together or even create special parties with your friends. You can then share information from multiple players during your journey in the world map and decide on course of action.

    Overall, the gameplay is pretty solid. It isn’t the most popular game, but it is a solid RPG for those looking for something new. The question is really if you want to invest your time in something that most likely won’t be played much or if you want to wait for the game to go on sale for $4.99.
