Hello, and welcome to another report from the news desk of the GFWL.
As we reported during our last news cycle, we’ve been working hard to create a new format for our updated reviews. Unfortunately, GFWL’s lackluster response to « requesting » an extension pushed us to release our beta test on Friday (the 22nd). As stated in our « In These Times, » this timing could not have been more unfortunate since most players are on vacation and it may have been a hectic time for most of you guys to get everything in place in case we released the files. However, with the help of our wonderful staff, support team and the thousands of players who didn’t seem to notice any difficulty or downtime in getting their GFWL accounts up and running, we managed to prepare and release the new GFWL reviews and other news stories as scheduled on Friday.
As a little treat, we will be releasing the combined Beta and in-game footage (game footage with commentary) of the newly released Taiga level alongside a special report on some of the new features in Taiga. The new in-game footage from the level « Prisoner » in the game footage will be released in a separate post. Thanks for your patience as we continue to work hard to make sure that all of our news stories and in-game footage are as informative and interesting as possible.
All in all, this is a good week for GFWL players and we are glad to have managed to make these improvements.

but man i just took a break from this game and realised that i did not even touch the mount. i really hope this doesn’t become like that with 2. the 4* mount that you get from 4th job when you did not reach it yet would be super great though.

Character Creation :Your character has many roles.It’s an infantryman,a medic, a righthand that can be switched to a left hand,a gunner or a tank operator.If you manage to find the right weapon for each role and the right equipment, you can become a specialist in each role.You will get the role points needed to obtain the weapon/equipment required.

Character Development :Your character will have a certain strength depending on the role you have taken.Specialists will obviously be stronger.These stats can be increased through different events, skills, research and items.

Character Classes:Classes are offered to the player as early as possible in the game and depend on the role you have played: medic, tank operator or gunner.

Character Interactions :As characters move about,they talk to each other through dialog that is specific to the role each character plays.
