Elden Ring by Simple Game Design is an open world fantasy action RPG made with the Unity engine, originally published for the PC on February 5th, 2016 by MyPlayGame.com. It is now an open beta and the final version is almost ready to be released.

The rules system is 2D based with a 3D world. You move around using either the mouse and keyboard, the touchscreen, or the gamepad. You can equip items, or summon allies by clicking on the appropriate icons on the ground. You can advance to new areas by going through magical portals, fight enemies, and maybe get a quest fulfilled. On the opposite side, other players or monsters try to kill you.

You can search for opponents on-line or invite them to your game to fight you. The game will be played versus other players, or the computer. Your opponent
