  This is a gorgeous game. The graphics are excellent and the world is massive. I thought my first time playing RPG at launch on PS4 would be disappointing, but I was wrong. I was so concerned about the PS4 not playing as well as the Xbox One that I was eager to get my hands on the game but never really thought about how well developed it was.

  The story is remarkable. You play a Tarnished Lord, a disgraced one at that, who must reclaim your proper place in the world. But that’s only half of the story. The other half is the Lands Between, a game world you explore, what awaits you there, and the things you do. It’s a bit of a nautical game with RPG elements, which can either be great or can be terrible depending on your taste.

  The system, on the other hand, is great. Each weapon, armors, and magic you use has a unique attack technique that can be built up and improved as you use it, gradually increasing its power. The diversity of skills means that you won’t find yourself having to play the same game over and over again, and are able to develop your own personality.

  The story is just fantastic. Sometimes the story will be so heart-wrenching that you’ll have to turn it off because it’s just too hard to watch. Other times, it’s so interesting that you’ll want to play it all the way through to the end. The real highlight though is the customization. You can choose from multiple different classes, which in turn has a variety of different skills available that you’re able to unlock and develop. It makes you feel like you’re building your own character, and I really enjoyed that aspect.

  The dungeons are interesting and challenging, especially the ones with time limits. The challenges can be tough but it’s always rewarding to conquer it. The story will continue even after you’ve completed the game, so don’t worry.

  In a time where we’re used to not being able to customize our characters, the customization options in Tarnished are actually fairly extensive. You can customize your character in every aspect from the way they look to how they behave. You can even combine a number of different types of weapons, armor and magic to make your character much more powerful.

This is a donation of 50% of the gross revenue derived from the sale of his book (or book deal or what-not) and/or the series.   The Netflix series documents the wrongful conviction of Avery, who was convicted of raping and murdering Penny Beerntsen in 2005 and served 18 years behind bars. The documentary is based on the book « Making a Murderer, » which C.K. authored and was published by Spiegel and Grau in 2018.

  The book has sold over 350,000 copies since its release, which was followed by the documentary. The series was released on Netflix on December 18, which was preceded by a crowd-funding campaign that was successful in generating almost $2 million for the families of Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey.
