The administration of Cd and Pb to adult rats produced more severe damage in the differentiating testis, even at lower concentrations than those used in the neonatal study. These results suggest that the differential effects of Cd and Pb on the differentiating testis are not dependent on the concentration of exposure in the neonatal period, but are clearly manifested in the adult.
