I had the same requirement. When I looked for a reference, I found out that there’s no way to do so. By reading the manual, I learned that you can only change the font or color of that button. There’s no way to change its appearance.
However, there is a way to change it’s appearance.
You can use OLE FONTS.
Your input file could be of any format (.docx,.dot,.odt,…), and you can use an OLE FONT to change the appearance of your button.
You can either make an OLE FONT with your own picture (or use some free images from the internet) or use one of the commonly used fonts in the docx specification.
It’s really easy. Just go to
