One of the highlights of the Wii U’s first-party presentation was certainly the video introduction to the upcoming fantasy game from Idea Factory, the new stand-alone RPG from Sword Art Online creator Reki Kawahara. It’s one I was eager to take a look at with any new game for the new platform, and I have to say, I’m really glad I did.
As a launch title for the system, Elden Ring Crack For Windows is the most impressive game in terms of presentation, as it has really risen above the pack in terms of graphics quality, song, voice acting and the chance to use the new tablet controller. The amount of detail on offer is really impressive, and the game even takes great care to bring the world to life thanks to its use of the tablet. The attention to detail is clear, but there are things about it that may not appeal to everyone.
The gameplay, for example, is identical to that of the previous title, Reki Kawahara’s Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson, which, as the trailer makes clear, is a fantasy game with a huge emphasis on combat. Basically, if you liked the previous game, then you’ll feel right at home with this one, as that’s pretty much how it’s going to play out. What will be a little different though is the fact that characters can be customized, so you’ll want to think carefully about their appearance before going into battle. The game’s four weapon types are on show off in-game as well, which means your thoughts and opinions on which one to use are just as important as your understanding of how to use them – or not use them, as the case may be.
The story is slightly more traditional in style, with a number of character backgrounds that you’ll want to learn about before playing. This should, in theory, give you a deeper understanding of the world, but as with the previous game, the game world itself is pretty slow to progress, so if you’re playing this title for action rather than story, you won’t get much out of it.
