Elden Ring [Win/Mac] [March-2022]

Gameplay: It has been a while since I last played a MMORPG, so this new game plays a little bit like a FPS with an action button. You still move around the world and do whatever you want (i.e. run around and attack stuff), but you also have to use the action button to attack enemies. There are also a number of auto-attacks, like for a bow or a spell.

Graphics: They use an old-school map design (with a little bit of 3D animation for the towers). The art is all very standard.

Sound: The music is very good (if a bit simplistic), the dialogue is decent, and the voices are nicely done.

Items: All the items in the game are purely cosmetic (i.e. you cannot equip or use them).

Fun: Despite my rustiness, it was a lot of fun to start a new adventure.

Altogether, a great experience for a new-time RPG lover. If you play RPGs, you should check this out.

Gameplay: The game does have quite a bit of polish, but it’s a bit simplistic. You have to just follow the action button.

Graphics: The graphics are pretty basic, and some cutscenes are a bit too animated for the average action RPG.

Sound: It’s quite good. Although I can’t find any particular polish, the game sounds pretty good considering the extent of the polish.

Items: You can choose to equip or use any item you find in the game. The equip system is a bit simplified though, and the equipment is very basic.

Fun: Well, it’s an RPG. But the game seems to be a bit on the easy side for its genre.

All in all, it’s an OK experience. It’s a fun game, and I’ve played it for hours, but there are better RPGs out there with more polish.
