    A large world

    Like Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls Online is set in the world of Tamriel. But instead of the lands of Vvardenfell, we now find ourselves in the new lands of Cyrodiil. Cyrodiil is divided into four provinces: the the Tevinter Imperium, Silver Marches, High Rock and Morrowind. This vast world contains a number of cities, each representing a major region. The Tevinter Imperium is made up of Sunweaver, Hardruler, Heartlands, Utgarde Pinnacle and Volunru. Silver Marches lies to the south, High Rock to the west and Morrowind to the east. The world also includes two large PvP areas: Riften and Hlaalu. There are also numerous forests and desert regions that players can travel through.

    Cyrodiil is certainly vast, but it is not as big as the world of Tamriel, as there are no regions of Khajiit territory. This is more a reflection of the difficulty of this world than a rejection of the inhabitants. Players will have to travel through regions of Morrowind, due to the fact that all major cities are in that province. Regions like Tevinter Imperium and Silver Marches are better represented thanks to their huge cities. The initial difficulty in the game is caused by the fact that most of the rewards are located within the main city. While cities like Tevinter Imperium, Silver Marches and Morrowind are, by choice, made to be large, this design has the unfortunate side-effect of making the game less rewarding for smaller players.

    Indie games are very underrated, if any of you are wondering. The games are not just about graphics or art, but has a great storyline. I picked up Divinity: Original Sin the other day from my local video game store, it’s a good game that has a good story to it. I’d recommend it to anyone that is curious about fantasy games. It’s a 2D game but the graphics is still decent.

    Good story is my favorite feature in a game, when I played the world of warmaster series the story was some of the best I’ve seen.

    I’m also a big fan of the world of the sunless sea games; i loved the story, the world, the characters, the gameplay, the music, the artwork, the universe… the whole shebang. Even though there is no release date currently known for world of the sunless sea 2, but hopefully it will be released in a not so distant future.
