What are Photoshop Elements?
If you’re new to Photoshop, Photoshop Elements is a cheaper, less-advanced alternative to Photoshop. It was originally made to be a Lightroom alternative.
It’s aimed at first-time and amateur users who might not have the budget or skill level for Photoshop.
But you can still use the same interface and features as those in Photoshop.
It includes all the tools you’ll need to edit images, resize, and add effects.
However, Photoshop Elements is not as powerful as full-featured Photoshop. Most of the users of Photoshop Elements are graphic designers and photographers, not pixel artists.
Photoshop Elements vs Photoshop
If you’re considering purchasing Photoshop, you should know that Elements is not as powerful as its full-featured counterpart.
This means you can’t do as many edits as you can in Photoshop.

What’s New in the?
The Gradient tool is one of Photoshop’s most powerful features and allows you to create various effects, such as reflections, gradients, patterns, and effects that simulate stained-glass windows.
You can apply these gradients to designs, objects, or even entire layers.
Photoshop’s Masking tool is similar to a stencil in that you can draw shapes and then fill in areas within a specific image. Once you create a mask, you can paint in an image and it will mask out anything outside of your masking area.
The Pen tool is a modified brush with many of the same types of brushes, including radial and pen styles.
However, the Pen tool can be used to paint inside an object, add highlights or change the color of any pixel inside an image.
The Text tool is a bit of a misnomer, in that it’s not just used for creating text. It also allows you to change the color, position, and direction of text within an image.
While this is a very useful tool to have in your arsenal, it can be intimidating to learn. In this tutorial, we’ll cover the basics of Photoshop text.
Select the Text tool.
Click and drag over an area you’d like to place text and release.
Note: Fonts, sizes, and placement are very important in placing your text. Use the Size and Tracking features to ensure that you’re not going off the screen.
Once you’ve created text, you can simply manipulate it. Click inside the text and resize, reposition, or rotate it by clicking and dragging on the corners of the text.
You can also change the text by selecting it, pressing the T key, and making any changes to the text.
You can also access the advanced text tools in the Tools panel.
Click the Adjustments button on the panel and choose the Character panel.
Click the Character panel and select the Character Size menu tab.
From here, you can select from a list of characters, including various types of smileys, such as smiling faces, owls, expressions, and faces that have been obscured by a camera flash.
The red and blue lines signify the text area’s top and bottom.
The height and width are represented in pixels and should remain roughly the same.
You can also adjust the font and size of the text.
Click the Text options button on the panel and select the Text Options dialog box.
