It’s just a coincidence that the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\pst.dat points to my user folder. If I tried to open it on another PC on which I’m logged in, I get an

“Windows cannot access \\computer\c$\Users\applicationdata\Office\14.0\Word\pst.dat. There is a problem with this location.”

When I open it on another PC, it will say

“Access to c$\Users\applicationdata\Word\pst.dat is denied”.

There is no registry entry for this file. I’ve deleted the application and reinstalled it on this PC. Of course it worked fine for my husband but not for me. (This is the one PC on which the Office is installed, the other is a standalone computer, that has a
