C# – Save struct to file with binarywriter
I have a struct defined in C# which is saved to a file. The file is loaded in a game which is being coded in C++.
I have no problem saving the struct to a file, it is in a private/public « writer » of the class which is ok.
The only issue is reading the file back into the struct, I am guessing because the file is in a binary type, my struct cannot store a value in memory.
I am trying to declare a variable of my struct, and then save this to file, but the values are not reading back in, I am not sure how to do this.
An example of my code:
