Adobe Photoshop uses a layer-based editing system that enables raster image creation and altering with multiple overlays that support transparency. Layers are the basic building blocks of Photoshop and they can be organized in groups. Each group can be thought of as an « image » and they are numbered 1 through 16.
To add a layer, click the layer you wish to add, and then click the Add Layer button. Photoshop opens a new document window with the layer you clicked on added to the Document panel.
You can then make changes to the layer, and save the changes to the New Document. By default, there is only one layer for each image, but you can easily add more.
You can make multiple layers by clicking on a layer and dragging it into a new window. You can then separate layers by dragging them away from one another into another layer window.
When you have your layers set up and are ready to edit an image, you can click on the original image and click the From Files button, and select the right layer to load it into the current window. You can select only the top layer by clicking on the little green arrow, or select any of the layers by clicking on the small arrow above each layer.
When you click the From Files button, a preview of the image appears on the right side. The preview is not the image you’re going to save, so it may be a different size.
In order to make any changes to your image, you must select the active layer first. To do this, click on the very top layer—the one that has the number 1 in front of it. Then you can make changes to the image.
You can use the tools that are most important for your specific editing task. The tool box can be closed for space or to conserve screen space.
Click on the Toolbox button to open it.
If you are working on just one layer, you can choose the Selection, Text, Lasso, Gradient, Pen, Hand, or None tool, depending on your needs.
The Adjustment panel can be used to adjust the colors in the image.
Adjustment panels include the Hue/Saturation, Lightness, Color, Threshold, Black & White, and Curves panels.

2. Grab a New Photo
Once you’ve downloaded the program, launch Photoshop Elements. On Windows, choose File > Open, select From My Computer. From Mac, choose File > Open, select From iCloud. On both computers, it will open the file you selected.

Once you have chosen your text, you can check if the text has been embedded in the image. Right-click the text to toggle Edit Mode. In Edit Mode, you can use the arrow keys and the Enter button to add your text. Photoshop Elements will recognise the text and copy it into the image, or you can manually add it as well.
If you need to increase the size of the text, you can click on your text in the image. As you will see in the next step, the size of the text will automatically increase or decrease in size.
5. Add More Text
To add more text, use the same method to add your text to the image.
6. Change the Size of the Text
The size of your text should be:
Slightly smaller than the image — this way, the text won’t be too small
Too large, it may look odd
The right balance, you’ll be able to read all of the text

i have a list of some sales prices from different discount rates (6 rates in total), i need to save them all in a database.
I’ve tried to save them via the CSV extension as a string and the decimal extension as a decimal and only the first rates in the csv file are saved.
