I’d like to know how to add or update data from a model to a database from within an ASP.NET MVC application.
I’ve got a db up and running in Visual Studio. I’ve got a’model’ that has (amongst other things) a ‘table’ with various data in it. The model is referenced by an ASP.NET MVC controller and I need to do something like add a new user to the model and then query the db and check if the user exists and update the table, if it exists, if it doesn’t then add it.
Is this possible and how?
