HOW TO PLAY ELDEN RING:

To begin the game, you must launch the launcher from the title screen and select “New Game”.

Please note that since the launcher was recently updated, it will be necessary to perform additional setup before you can launch the game.

1. Launch the launcher first, and download the game.
2. As the download is progressing, create an account and log in.
3. After confirming that the information is correct, you must select a save slot.
4. The next screen presents a menu of options.

To start the game, tap “Start”.

Since this is a game that allows you to freely change the pace of your game, you must create a new character. This begins with setting the name of your character.

“First Name” is a field for inputting a first name for your character, and this will appear under the character’s name at the bottom of the screen. The number of letters allowed is four characters.

If you type in a name which is too long for the available character slots, you can move the selected character to another slot by pressing the small square button on the bottom right corner of the screen. You can only move one character at a time.

In addition to the “first name”, you can also change your character’s gender, appearance, and appearance color.

Appearance and Appearance Color are fields in which you can change the appearance of your character. If you change the appearance of your character, the character’s armor, hair, and arms/legs will also change.

To change the appearance of your character, you must first press the “Character Customization” icon (left bottom corner).
