RPGS CAN BE TERRIBLE at the beginning.

They are lots of negatives in them but I have to first point out that lots of them are things that I want and need in a RPG now!

Battle System
RPG’s battle system can be very tough to get used to.

When you are paired up with someone that is better, it is usually easy.

When you fight alone against a boss it can be really tough.

In my defense, I was just playing on normal.

The way the leveling system works is easy.

Once you hit a certain level, you level up every time you win.

This is very helpful for leveling characters to have different stats.

You level up your weapon to inflict more damage, your magic for more variety and speed.

The equipment is good for people that are new to the genre because they are providing a good starting point.

You can also afford to buy better stuff later on when you get better at the game.

You can also invest money into crafting skills or buying certain items such as food that you can not afford to buy.

The bad thing that I have to mention about the battle system is that you must press a button to attack at all times.

This means that you can not back up to fight someone else.

You just have to attack when your opponent attacks.

This can be bad when your opponent is stronger than you.

In addition, you have to press a button when you attack and guard.

When I first started playing I thought, « Why do I have to keep pressing buttons when I fight? »

It turns out that this is to slow the enemies down.

If I forgot to press a button, my enemies would just walk over me.

This makes one of the most important parts of RPG’s a little problematic.
