* if you want to get the details of a config file, you need to specify the config file name
* the config file is a.txt file and the file extension must be « txt »

Installation
Download the zip file and extract it to any directory. a good choice would be the samurize directory of course but samurize is found via registry so it doesn’t really matter. start the executable « RunEmbeddingClient.exe ».
An error box will pop up, just dismiss it and you should see a samurize icon where your clock was before. right-click on it and select a usable config. you can choose any config, but small ones do make more sense

The config that was set just after the installation will be used.

Note: The server version of the extension will replace your windows clock.

Bugs
If the clock is swapped in some countries (e.g. British holiday times):

Go to the extension settings

Change the timezone to your timezone

Add the timezone to the map

Navigate to the location on the map

Start the clock

If your computer is set to British holiday times it will become the Dutch holiday times now, but you can choose to keep British times.

It is best to do that when you’re using a Windows account or with a non US version of Windows or you don’t want British holiday times.
The next update will include an option to keep British times or not.

If you are having problems, please post the details of your issue (chrome version, operating system, amount of RAM, graphics card, etc.).

If there is no possible solution for you, then you can also use the extension version on the serverside (see wiki, doc. or forum).

It’s better if you use the version from the server-side, as there you will be at least safe if it is broken or exploitable.

If you are experiencing issues with the regular version, the best solution is to patch the server-side version, so you don’t get stuck with the broken version forever.

What’s New In Samurize Clock Client?

« Samurize Clock Client » will allow you to configure any samurize configuration to replace the Windows clock. Start « Samurize Clock Client » and choose a « clockwidget_0000.cfg » file from your Samurize configuration directory. If you want to change the clock, you need to backup the original clock file first. You can do this by pressing Ctrl-C in Samurize Clock Client. Also if you want to reset the clock to its original state, you have to save the file. Press Ctrl-S to save the clockwidget_0000.cfg, you can now choose another clock by pressing Ctrl-S again. Other then that there is nothing to configure. The clock is synced with the server and is always up to date. »

Configuration file
« clockwidget_0000.cfg » is just a xml file like any other custom configuration for samurize, you can edit it as you wish.
Just change « ? » for « samurize: » and « Win32″ for your platform.
