NewSoft SignalLab is a software library for the development of realtime signal processors. It is designed with performance in mind and, therefore, provides a high level of performance, low levels of resource utilization, and also high flexibility. Its flexible architecture supports many different programming models. It has a graphical user interface. It can be used from basic applications to full real-time systems.
The SignalLab consists of two parts: an easy to use VCL library and several graphical tools for data visualization and signal analysis. The audio processing functions of the library are based on the high performance signal processing algorithms of the Signal Processing Toolbox from NewSoft. In order to provide a user friendly library interface, many commonly used routines were implemented in VCL language. Graphic user interfaces for realtime processing are designed for the novice and the expert alike. They are based on simple, object oriented interface languages. With these tools and the SignalLab library, it is easy to implement real-time DSP-algorithms in a user-friendly way.
What’s really great about this library is that it doesn’t force a specific programming model for the user and allows to code in multiple ways with a common VCL interface.
