Don’t get me started on monitor brands. But I think it’s overpriced to get the new set of Deathstalker’s and the « monitor » in a 3″ case. And I am not talking about the ones in the laptops.
I agree about the Deathstalker’s. My CRT monitor is the closest one to an HDTV and it is about to go. I really like that monitor.

The « Universe Screen Saver » is a utility application to display your computer’s Universe in all its majesty.
What’s New in This Release:
Two new images have been added to the list: « R26″ from the « Interstellar » movie (Extractor, 11 Jul 2019) and « R27″ from the « Interstellar » movie (Jan. 2020) There is a new option to change the image’s speed in the preferences. Due to a bug, the « Refresh » button which was disabled for the « R27″ image was enabled in the preferences. It was fixed in the next version.

The following problems have been reported from some of the users:
– Quickly (minutes later) « the screen goes black and I’m forced to press the power key on the keyboard in order to force the computer to shutdown. »
– Sometimes the screen goes black and you need to restart the computer (this is probably due to the use of over 256MB of VRAM in the video card)
– Computer gets « stuck » after locking the screen after a while, and the user has to press the power key to shutdown the computer.

I had a universe screen saver in both windows and win xp. I notice universe screen saver doesn’t exist in win 7 x64 (I installed ubuntu 32bit in dual boot with win 7 x64). So, I thought if there’s alternative for ubuntu. It turns out that just control panel -> appearance -> visual effects -> choose the check box for ubuntu universe screen saver. Unfortunately, it seems that they removed universe screen saver from win 7 x64 (with the new update).

What’s New in the Universe Screen Saver?
A computer monitor has the ability to display different things to you depending on your use of it. Through the use of the S key you can « capture » a screen shot on that monitor and watch as the Saver displays a separate universe on your screen.
You can order it to play more things or less things by holding shift and pressing + or -, the [angle bracket is for faster computer monitors that do not support transpose.

Password File:
Remember there are 2 files, one for the password file and one for the install.
Password.dat – The password file, filled with your passwords.
