I searched everywhere before I found this software. I used it for a few months now, and it’s working well, I have no problems with it. Although I would recommend to buy a microphone, as it was a bit noisy when I first tried it, but then the volume is more stable.

The most important element of this app is the following. Once you activate the free version of the volume lock, you have to lock the volume per App. Not per Volume.
As a plus, WinVolumeLock has a built-in application that will notify you when somebody has an app with a volume higher than the maximum volume lock. As an example, if you set the maximum volume to 50% and have some apps having a volume higher than 50%, you can be notified in the built-in application when someone’s higher than the set volume.
