UseFull Backgrounder is a handy and reliable application designed to manage desktop background images for dual monitors.
Most of the time the app just works, but there are some niggling issues which haven’t been fixed.
The main problem is that it *sometimes* won’t find the appropriate image to use, and I have to force quit it or restart it.
I’ve tried two browsers, two operating systems and a variety of different sets of images as a test, with the same results. I’ve tried to isolate it as much as I can, but I just can’t work out what it’s doing differently.
If you have any ideas, they would be much appreciated.

1) The app only works after running the app at least once, and there’s no error messages or anything like that.
2) If the app doesn’t find a proper image then it is not saved in the file.
3) There is no option to save the file… The image is shown in the list, selected, but not changed when I click Save or OK.

I have all updates installed, including the ones that required a reboot.

It’s probably going to sound weird, but the only thing I can think of that might be different is the monitors. The problem is intermittent, but I’m able to switch a few minutes in between each of them and it works fine. Otherwise, the setup is exactly the same.

So in short, you are having problems with some pictures and some monitors and some combinations thereof, but not others. It could be the monitor, or the monitors, or a combination of both.
